What is a PlanOtech?

PlanOtechs are trained real estate photography professionals who are part of the PlanOmatic national network. They are experts in capturing your homes in the best light. PlanOtechs use professional-grade cameras with wide-angle lenses for photos and Ricoh Theta 360 cameras for 3D tours.

How do I reach PlanOmatic if I have questions?

We are available to assist Monday – Friday from 6 AM MT – 7 PM MT, and we accept orders seven days a week! You can email support@planomatic.com for any of the following:

  • Scheduling updates
  • Specific order questions 
  • Order Placement 

What coverage do you have across the USA?

We have national coverage. Our updated service area list can be accessed here. We service orders 60 miles or more from the city centers listed here and are able to travel further on a case-by-case basis.

How can I cancel my order?

Please reach out to support@planomatic.com ASAP. If the order has not been scheduled, we can cancel the order. If the order has already been scheduled and the PlanOtech is on their way to the property, we won’t be able to cancel the order. 

How can I reschedule my order?

Please reach out to support@planomatic.com ASAP. If the order has not been scheduled we can change it to a new date. If the order has already been scheduled and the PlanOtech is on their way to the property, we won’t be able to reschedule the order. 

What photo editing services does PlanOmatic provide?

PlanOmatic provides a comprehensive range of photo editing services on every order to ensure that your listing photos look their best. By default, we include the blue sky and green grass editing, touch-ups, and cropping. We also review each photo to ensure that it meets our standards for composition, clarity, and lighting.

At PlanOmatic, we’re committed to providing high-quality photo editing services on every order. Whether you need simple touch-ups or more extensive editing, we’re here to help you get the most out of your listing photos. Specific editing requests can be submitted directly to your PlanoX account. Need a vehicle or dumpster removed from a driveway? Make the request right in your account!

What photos can I expect to receive for my order? What is the PlanOmatic shot list?

After photographing over 1 million homes, we know what works! PlanOmatic has developed an industry-leading shot list that works every time. Here is a summary of our standard shot lists by service type:

  • Exterior Photo (1): One straight front exterior shot of your home, including more sky and avoiding long driveways, to provide a clear view of your property.
  • Exterior Photos (3): Two front exterior photos, including a straight-on front shot followed by an additional front angle and a back exterior photo.
  • Exterior Photos (5): Five front and back exterior photos, including a straight-on front shot followed by additional front and back angles from each side.
  • Photos (10): Ten photos in total, including a front view and back view of your entire property. For the interiors, eight photos featuring the kitchen, living room, main bedroom, and main bathroom.
  • Photos (15): Fifteen photos in total, including exterior shots from multiple angles and interiors featuring the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms, focusing on key rooms.
  • Photos (20): Twenty photos in total, including exterior shots from multiple angles and interiors featuring the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms with more angles and views.
  • Photos (25): Twenty-five photos in total, including exterior shots from multiple angles and interiors featuring the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms with more angles and views. 
  • Amenity Photos (5): Five photos of community amenities like pools, parks, and recreational courts.
  • Amenity Photos (10): Ten photos of community amenities like pools, parks, and recreational courts.

Why is there only one photo in the tour?

If our PlanOtech could not access the property or experienced an on-site issue that prevented them from completing the services, they will submit the order as an Unable to Complete (UTC). When possible, they will provide one (1) front exterior hero shot that can be used to market the property until we can return.  Review the UTC reason and notes left by our PlanOtech and please resolve the issue at the property before re-ordering. 

Do you provide API options?

PlanOmatic supports various API connections that connect directly to your system. Manage tasks from order placement to asset delivery directly in your current platform. For more information check out our developer resources here and reach out to your Client Success Manager.

Do your Zillow products work with Zillow Rental Integrations?

Yes! Upon order completion, our Zillow 3D tours will syndicate directly to Zillow Rentals in real-time.

How Can I Access this Service?

Reach out to clientsuccess@planomatic.com and they will complete your setup.

Do you work with Rently? How can I provide PlanOmatic with a vendor access code?

Yes! Our PlanOtechs are accustomed to working with Rently. In order to set PlanOmatic up with a vendor PIN, follow the steps outlined in this Rently guide

We are missing photos of the (specified room/s), were you able to capture them?

A: Our PlanOtechs do their best to capture each home within the ordered quantity. With smaller photo counts we will prioritize the exteriors and key rooms (kitchen, living room, main bedroom, and main bathroom). Please reach out to support@planomatic.com for further assistance. 

The photos on the Zillow listing are not the images I ordered from PlanOmatic

Once you list the property on your PMS, this should syndicate with Zillow and update the assets. Zillow reflects whatever feed you are putting your media into. If you are having issues with a Zillow listing, please reach out to Zillow directly: https://zillow.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/
